How to reach from :
South India: Take direct train to Ahmedbad or Mumbai. From Mumbai travel either by Rail to Ahmedbad and then take meterguage train or Bus to reach Udaipur or by direct bus to Udaipur from Mumbai Central/Borivili.
Eastern part of India: Take direct train to Delhi. From Delhi either take train to Udaipur or take bus from ISBT/New Delhi to Udaipur or take Bus from Bikaner House/New Delhi to Jaipur and then take direct bus from Jaipur to Udaipur. One can also travel by broad guage trains upto Ajmer and then take bus from Ajmer to Udaipur

Udaipur is one of the major tourist centre The city is small ( total 37Sq.Km area and 625 mtrs above MSL) having population of about 4 lakhs. Maximum Summer temperature during March,April,May & June can go upto 45C. However, nights are very cool. During winter(December-February) minimum temperature can touch 4C. Best time to visit Udaipur is July-March. Famous Shrinathji Temple at Nathadwara is only 50km from Udaipur. Marble industries at Sukher,Handicrafts. Major touriest attractions are City Palace,Sahaleion Ki Bari, FateSagar,Moti Magri,Dhood Talai,Gulabh Bagh,Lok Kala Mandhir,Shilpagram etc. Jaisamand Lake (50km),Chittorgrah (112km), Mount Abu (187km),Ranakpur (90km) etc are important places that can be visited from Udaipur.

Mohan Lal Sukhadia University has two campuses . All departments of Science faculty ( UniversityCollege of Science), Commerce faculty(University College of Commerce and Management Studies), Geology Department,Girls Hostel,University Guest House,Professors quarters, Teachers quarters,M.B.Main Hostel etc are located in the old campus,popularly known locally as "M.B.College". This campus is located about 2.5km from Railway station, 2kms from Bus stand and is on the Udaipur-Chitorgarh (Udaipur airport Road) road.
Administrative building( Office of VC, Registrar,Comptroller, Examination etc.), University Central Library, Vigyan Bhawan ( Computer Centre, MCA,IT Departments), Faculty of Management Studies (MBA,MTM courses), Pharmacy (B.Pharma,M.Pharma) Departments of humanities and Social Sciences (University College of Social Science and Humanities), Law college, Vice-Chancellor Residence, University auditorium etc. are located in the new campus. New campus is popularly known as " Arts College","University". The Home Science College and C.T.A.E of Maharana Pratap Agricultural and Technology University are also located near to this campus. From Railway station or from Bus Stand, new campus is about 4 km towards Ashok Nagar-Ayad area.
