MASTER OF SCIENCE PROGRAMME IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ADMISSION NOTICE Applications are invited on prescribed form for
admission to the first semester of Master of Science programme
in Information Technology. The
course is designed as a professional course to provide training to develop,
implement and operate modern information systems. The course also provides
opportunity to specialize in current and emerging technologies like Bioinformatics,
Computer Vision, Image analysis, Wireless communication, Eligibility: The course is basically
designed for Graduates
of Physical Sciences, Computer
Science and Engineering graduates. However, graduates from any other
stream having good aptitude in Mathematics and Computer Applications
are also eligible to apply provided if admitted, they are required to
undergo special tutorials in Mathematics and Electronics. Admission: Admission to the course
will be made on the basis of
an entrance test conducted at Udaipur on 15th July 2002,

payment of Rs 200/-(Rs
250/- if by post) in the form of a crossed DD in the name of
“Co-ordinator, MSC(IT), MLSU” payable at Udaipur. Detailed information

Note:
(a)
Candidates seeking admission under Foreign/NRI/NRI
Sponsored/Industry sponsored quota need not appear for entrance examination.
Admission under this quota will be made on the basis of mark
obtained at their graduation.
(b)
Semester Fee: RS 25000/- PER SEMESTER. US$ 1500 per semester FOR Foreign/NRI/NRI sponsored
candidates. Industry sponsored candidates can pay Indian Rs equivalent of US$1500
(c)
Each semester of the course is 5 months and 650 hrs teaching and Training
per semester and 100 hrs of professional
training. (The course content is
more than three years MCA programme)
