The main computer centre of the university is equipped with modern computing facilities consisting of UNIX (Digital Alpha systems), Windows NT (Compaq AP400) and Netware servers, 40 pentium PCs including multimedia systems, laser and line printers. In addition to  the standard  PC softwares, the centre also has softwares  like Oracle 8 server, Web  developer suite, visual studio, SPSS etc.

University also has an Internet Centre with 64 kbps leasline connection, ISDN and VSAT Internet connectivity, SUN Netra J Webserver, Windows NT Intranet Server, Communication server, Proxy servers, Mail server and  20 Pentium multimedia systems.  A  Switched 10/100 Mbps campus network  with Optical fiber backbone  connects Internet centre with Computer Centre and different departments and units . This network is also used as the test bed for computer network course of  MCA programme.

An advanced Computer Graphics laboratory in the Department of Physics  with SGI Octane, SGI Windows NT workstations, Pentium-III  HP Brio systems and multimedia PC's used  for   M.C.A, M.Sc. and research programme.

A cluster of SMP workstations and PC's using 100 base T switch and Linux operating system is also under development
