ADMISSION NOTICE

   Pre-PG Entrance Test-2008

Applicants are invited for admissions to various M.Sc. Courses in the faculty of Science . The admissions will be made through an Entrance Test for each subject to be conducted separately as per the following programme:

Application Form: Application Forms along with other details will be available in the Concerned Departments w.e.f. 26.5.2008 (between 10.30 AM to 5.00 PM) on payment of Rs. 500/-cash (Rs. 250/- for SC/ST candidates ) or by sending DD for Rs 550/- (Rs. 300/- for SC/ST candidates ) in favor of  Head, of the concerned Department.**

Eligibility : B.Sc. with a minimum of 50% marks aggregate. Candidate from outside the state must have a minimum of 60% marks (I Division) marks. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination and whose result is awaited may appear in the Entrance Test. They will submit their mark sheet before the declaration of result of Entrance exams.

Reservations: As per Universities rules.

Admission Procedure : 50% weightage will be given to the marks obtained in Entrance Test while 50% weightage will be given to the marks obtained in optional theory papers only (excluding practicals) at B.Sc. Examination.

Last Date: The completed application forms should be submitted directly to the Concerning Departments on or before 23rd June,2008 (up to 5.00 PM).

Entrance Test and Center: All Entrance Tests will be held  at University College of Science (M.B. College, Durga Nursery Road) on the above dates.

** In case of Biotechnology , the Demand Draft should be in the name of  Course Director, Biotechnology, for Information Technology , in the name of  Coordinator, IT Programme and in case of Industrial Chemistry the DD should be made in the name of Course Director, Industrial Chemistry payable at Udaipur.
